LIFE Well, well, well… I’ve been missing in action (I’m sooo sorry). Since my last blog, quite a few events have transpired. I’ve completed another semester of university, I’ve become a member of the illustrious Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, and I’ve gotten my books into a local bookstore. During all of this, I was working on a new romance novella and a short poetry chapbook. I’m almost done with these projects, so keep an eye out. P.S. A lot is going on and it is taking a toll on the mental health of many. Please take care of yourselves! BOOK UPDATES
Finding Mora is officially here! I truly had no intentions to expand Mora’s story, yet here I am. This book is a bit more action-packed than usual and follows themes such as friendship, family, secrecy, perseverance and bravery. This novelette is presented in a college setting, with memorable characters. Grab a copy of Finding Mora for only $0.99 on Amazon. (Free on Kindle Unlimited) *** Do that that this book is a part of a standalone series and as such, can be read on its own. Hey everyone! I am thrilled to reveal the cover for my 5th YA Novella, Finding Mora. This book follows the life of Mora after the events of ‘Call Me Mora’. Therefore, it is book two of the standalone series, ‘This is Mora’. (This means that the books in this series are not dependent on each other and can be read on their own.) Mora is such an interesting character, that I felt the need to explore her more. This will be the first book I release in 2021 and I am super excited.
Available For Pre-order on Amazon: BLURB “The past is never where you think you left it.” ― Katherine Anne Porter After the humiliation of being exposed and losing a subsequent trial, Mora is starting her life over with a new name, a new university, new friends, and a potential boyfriend. Her former life is defunct—or so she thinks. When a college party leads to an encounter with an old acquaintance, Mora realizes the past never stays buried. Old wounds are ripped open, and her former life collides with her present. Caught in a web of secrets, danger, and lies, she must defend and protect everyone and everything she holds dear. Will it be enough? Or will her past destroy her future? Today I am excited to share the cover of my 4th YA Novella Double Crossed on this site. The same will be released on the 12th of August 2020. I wrote this book because I wanted to display relatable yet non-stereotypical minority experiences. It was a book I wanted to read. My characters aren’t perfect. They don’t always make the best choices. In this book, I didn’t make my characters heroes. I made them human.

Tianna expected a wild senior year but nothing prepared her for a betrayal this big. She soon takes solace with Jeremy, a misfit she’s spent most of her high school life disliking. Tensions grow as graduation draws nearer and with almost everyone against her, Tianna lets loose. As an Author and Artist, I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my craft. Call Me Mora is a short read that tackles a lot of relevant themes such as colorism, sexual harassment and police brutality. When I first released Call Me Mora, I uploaded the wrong version. Even after I changed the manuscript uploaded, some people were still recieving the unedited draft. This had a negative impact on the book.
Today I'm happy to say that that matter has been resolved. Please update the kindle version of the book on the kindle app. If you purchased a paperback with the same mistake, message me and I'll send a new one. To celebrate resolving this issue, I decided to give Call Me Mora a new and improved look! (KINDLE EDITION IS STILL FREE) Ps: I've been feeling a bit under the weather so I'm not as active on my socials. Hello Everyone,
